Turcii cuceresc ora\u0219ul \u00een 1482 \u0219i r\u0103m\u00e2n aici dou\u0103 secole, cu o mic\u0103 \u00eentrerupere, c\u00e2nd ora\u0219ul se afl\u0103 sub spanioli. Trece \u00een m\u00e2inile Vene\u021biei \u00een 1687, apoi ale Imperiului Austro-Ungar, apoi Herceg Novi, vremelnic, e sub Napoleon, sub ru\u0219i, sub Mussolini \u0219i parte a Iugoslaviei. Istoria, nu chiar toat\u0103, se vede rezumat\u0103 \u00een pia\u021b\u0103. O pia\u021b\u0103 paradoxal\u0103, pentru c\u0103 e o pia\u021b\u0103 de tip italian, av\u00e2nd \u00een mijloc o splendid\u0103 biseric\u0103 ortodox\u0103 \u00eenconjurat\u0103 de palmieri. Neoficial, numele pie\u021bei e Belavista.
