N\u00e1m\u011bst\u00ed, \u00een ceh\u0103. Iar \u0160tramberk e un alt exemplu de loc \u00een care ora\u0219ul e totuna cu pia\u021ba lui. \u00cen afara \u0219irului de case care definesc perimetrul acesteia, doar dou\u0103 sau trei str\u0103du\u021be se adaug\u0103 h\u0103r\u021bii. Un turn cilindric, numit Tr\u00faba, coco\u021bat pe dealul \u00eemp\u0103durit de al\u0103turi, rest al unui castel despre care se \u0219tiu prea pu\u021bine lucruri, domin\u0103 a\u0219ezarea. Totul e decor dintr-o poveste, de la p\u0103duri, la castel \u0219i pia\u021b\u0103, iar patrimoniului arhitectural i se adaug\u0103 un num\u0103r mare de case de lemn, din secolele XVIII \u0219i XIX. \u021ainutul \u00een care se afl\u0103 \u0160tramberk se nume\u0219te Vala\u0161sko, de la numele popula\u021biei venite aici \u00een c\u00e2teva valuri succesive, de-a lungul Carpa\u021bilor, din Transilvania \u0219i, poate, din Bucovina. Dac\u0103, pe drum, limba vlahilor s-a pierdut, iar ace\u0219tia s-au slavizat, au r\u0103mas vii o vreme unele obiceiuri \u0219i s-au transmis tehnici de construc\u021bie tradi\u021bionale, preluate \u0219i adaptate de me\u0219terii locali, cehi sau germani. Casele de lemn amintesc clar de arhitectura rom\u00e2neasc\u0103 \u00een lemn din Transilvania. Mai multe ora\u0219e din zon\u0103 au avut astfel de centre, dar casele de lemn au fost \u00eenlocuite de altele, din zid, cel mai adesea \u00een stil baroc.
